The Grand National Monster Trucks Tour was scheduled to make a stop in Troy this Saturday, March 22, for two different events but due to the recent storms that rolled through Troy the tour has been postponed until October.

Dillon Fenley of the Grand National Monster Truck Tour confirmed to The Messenger the decision on Tuesday.

“We are heartbroken about the storms and were looking forward to it but for the best of the community we, and the arena, decided to postpone until Oct. 4,” Fenley said.

Fenley also said that all tickets already purchased would be honored for the Oct. 4 event at the Pike County Cattleman’s Park in Troy and that the Oct. 4 event would also have two shows, a matinee and an evening event. Additionally, Fenley said that current ticket holders would also receive a free merch item for the inconvenience of the date change.

A number of Monster Trucks that have been seen on television like Fenley’s own King Krunch, Nitro Hornet and Tantrum will be on hand when the tour comes to Troy in October. It will be the tour’s first stop in Pike County ever.
