Pike County man Arthur L. Wilson denied bond on burglary convictions

Pike County man Arthur L. Wilson stood before the Alabama Parole Board on Feb. 26 for a parole hearing and was denied parole.
Between 2016 and 2019, Wilson was convicted on seven counts of first-degree Theft of Property, six counts of third-degree Burglary, one count of Violation of the Sex Offender Registry Laws and one count of Receiving Stolen Property in the second-degree. He was sentenced to a total of 18 years in the Alabama Department of Corrections. He’s serving his time at Easterling Correctional Center in Clio.
So far, Wilson has served nine years and two months of his sentence and he will be eligible for a parole hearing again in 2027. Wilson previously served two years for convictions of four counts of first-degree Theft of Property in 2006.
