Sunday is a very special day for Orion Baptist Church.

At 11 a.m., the 196-year-old church bell will ring a “welcome” to members and visitors to Orion Baptist Church

Keith Roling, church member, said the special Sunday is a joint meeting with Calvary Baptist in Troy as their church is being renovated.

Pastor Richard Girdner, said plates, drinks and utensils will be furnished so bring something to share – sandwiches, chicken, dessert for 10 should be plenty of food.

“It’s not how much we have, but how much we enjoy that makes happiness.
