Pike Lib hosts Archery Tournament

Pike Liberal Arts School hosted a 3D/Bullseye Combo Archery Tournament last week with more than 50 archers in competition.
Archers from Pike Lib, Highlands Elementary in Dothan, Goshen, Troy Elementary School and Charles Henderson Middle School competed in the tournament.
Pike Lib’s Carly Henderson scored a total of 277 points, out of 300, to win the overall tournament championship, while Mary Allen Pennington took the top honors in the middle school division and James Johnson won first place in the elementary division.
The Pike County Regional Archery Tournament will be held on March 12 at 9 a.m. at the Troy SportsPlex.
