Carr was the luncheon guest on Wednesday of City of Troy Tourism Director Shelia Jackson, who said Troy has been and continues to receive grant funding from ASCA.
“We have the benefit of Euri’s leadership when applying for ASCA grant funding,” Jackson. “The ASCA grants have benefitted different arts organization in Troy, so the grant funds make it possible for Troy to reach more people and different ages.”
Jackson thanked Carr for her continuing guidance in working through the grant process that makes it possible to bring more and different arts opportunities to Troy and Pike County.
Carr is responsible for the programming and contracting of a variety of visual arts exhibitions and or music performances.
She provides assistance and support to organizations during the grant process including from the pre-award phase, through the awards phase that includes financing operations and application review, the award phase and implementing, reporting and closing out the grant award.
Carr said ASCA grants make a tremendous positive impact on the communities they serve and also in the individuals who have opportunities that would not have been possible otherwise.
