According to Pike County Engineer Derick Donaldson the county will stripe about 45 miles of roads later this spring. 

Donaldson said the Pike County Commission began budgeting for annual road striping in 2019. He said a bid for the project would be opened March 19 with an estimated mid-May project start date. 

The striping would cover only center lane striping on roads with more than a 300 traffic count. He said the county only fully striped roads that had a traffic count of more than 600 cars per day.
