Something is always going on at the Johnson Center for the Arts. in downtown Troy. Always.
Andrea Pack, JCA executive, extended thanks to the Alabama State Council on the Arts and said the JCA is thrilled to share the exciting upcoming events at the JCA.
“Center Stagers” is underway and is preparing for the performance of “School Rock.”
Pack said the JCA after-school arts programming continues for students in Crenshaw County, thanks to the Alabama State Department of Education.
Outreach classes through AmpUp Arts have expanded as experiences to Sprout Early Learning Center, Troy Pediatric & Collegiate Health and Troy Resilience Project, thanks to the Daniel Foundation.
Pack said the JCA is also grateful to the Chapman Foundation for its help in bringing new arts education to Goshen Elementary School and Pike County Elementary School.
Art and recognition are also extended to all JCA members for enriching lives with the power of the arts.
