Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church in Brundidge will celebrate its centennial anniversary this year 2025.

Teresa Ellis, church treasurer, said the church’s fellowship members and community will memorialize this momentous occasion on March 2, 2025.

“The Lord has proven Himself faithful to this established House of God over the past 100 years and we expect nothing less of Him now,” Ellis said. “Many signs and wonders have followed them that believed in the Word of God on these hallowed grounds with the culmination of salvations, baptisms and miracles.

“From our humble beginnings in 1925, many of the members, past and present, have heard God’s call upon their lives to become pastors, evangelists and, even the establishment of Mt. Olive Church on foreign soil.

“Currently, with only around 40 active members, God has blessed our congregation to help with mission work from South Dakota to the Lakota Indian Tribe and on foreign soil in India, Kenya, Africa and the Philippines.”
Ellis said these endeavors provide the church with the opportunity to present The Gospel of Christ through youth camps, kid crusades, Bible distribution, feeding the soul of man naturally and, more importantly, spiritually.

“We give all the Glory and Honor to the Lord.”
