Nationally Acclaimed Storyteller Donald Davis will be on stage at the We Piddle Around Theater in Brundidge at 6 p.m. March 1.

Davis was scheduled to be a teller at the 2025 Pike Piddlers Storytelling Festival at the We Piddle Around Theater the last weekend in January. However, he was iced-in on Ocracoke Island and unable to make the trip.

“However, Donald Davis had made a commitment and he was going to uphold it. We were so appreciative that he wanted to do this for us,” said Johnny Garrett, president of the hosting Brundidge Historical Society. “Donald Davis has been with us since 2007 and not missed a festival. In fact, during COVID, he came to the We Piddle Around Theater for a small event, so we wouldn’t have to have a break in the Pike Piddlers Storytelling Festival concerts. We really appreciate his support over the years”

Donald Davis was a teller at the first Pike Piddlers Storytelling Festival and his been a teller each year following.
