Ariton remains undefeated with 11-1 win over Dale County

The Ariton Purple Cats (3-0) won their third straight game to open the 2025 baseball season on Monday by a score of 11-1 over the Dale County Warriors.
Ariton jumped out of the gate with six runs in the first inning and never looked back. Hayes Hammock went 2-for-4 at the plate with a triple, one RBI and two runs, while Easton Kilpatrick went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs. Brodie Lowery and Wells Ganey both scored two runs each, while Addison Senn, Gabe Jones and Conner Davidson each scored one run.
Davidson pitched four innings and struck out a pair of batters, while giving up one hit and one earned run. Lowery also pitched two innings and fanned a pair of batters along with giving up no hits or runs.
For Dale County, Logan Suggs earned the lone hit of the day, while Aaron Beasley scored the lone Warrior run. Brady Lewis pitched three and 2/3 innings and gave up two hits with no earned runs along with striking out a pair of batters.
Ariton travels to Zion Chapel on Thursday, Feb. 20, at 4:30 p.m.
