The Pioneer Museum of Alabama is filled with items the from the past. And, each is a cherished memory for those who experienced the “Good O’ Days.”

In celebrating Valentine’s Day 2025, the museum features a collection of the Valentines of yesteryear.

Barbara Tatom, museum director, said the museum has a donated collection(s) of classic valentines and visitors are surprised at the intricate and very beautiful artwork.

“You won’t be able to find many Valentines likes this,” Tatom said. “Most of them are probably, in private collections or in museums.
