“It’s never too late to be a Center Stager,” said Andrea Pack, executive director, Johnson Center for the Arts in downtown Troy.

Although Center Stagers Youth Theater classes began February 4 and 13 at the Johnson Center for the Arts, the clock continues to tick.

The cost to participate in Center Stagers is $40 total and includes eight weeks of classes.

Pack said Center Stagers offers youth theater classes for ages 8-16 in the Pike County area. The Center Stagers will present “Schoolhouse Rock” in May.

The Center Stagers will rehearse twice a week to prepare for the fun and exciting production of “School House Rock” in May.

Center Stagers is a program that exposes children to theater arts and provides an opportunity to perform on stage before an appreciative audience.

Center Stagers at the Johnson Center for the Arts is made possible with partners, Alabama State Council on the Arts, Troy University Department of Theater and Troy Bank & Trust.
