Charles Henderson drops road battle against 7A Dothan

The Charles Henderson Trojans (1-1) hit the road to face Class 7A Dothan Wolves in a road basketball game on Friday.
The Trojans fell behind 23-10 in the first quarter but cut the lead to 36-25 at halftime and came to within 47-42 going into the fourth quarter. The Trojans outscored the Wolves 14-11 in the fourth but were unable to complete the comeback as DHS held on for the 14-11 win.
Brothers Cody Cross and Tyler Cross scored 12 points each for the Trojans, while Quntavious Johnson and Jyderian Burney scored 10 points each. Dothan was led by Delijah Coleman with 17 points.
The junior varsity Trojans also fell 42-31 to Dothan. Joshua Jackson led the JV Trojans with 10 points, while Jaomorian Fuller scored nine.
The CHHS Lady Trojans lost a close 35-30 matchup with 7A Dothan, as well. Ava Mitchell-Stone led CHHS with 10 points.
