“At Troy University, we know that freedom isn’t free,” said Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr. “Serving the men and women of the U.S. military is a part of our mission at TROY, and we are pleased to demonstrate our appreciation for their service by offering this new scholarship and application fee waiver to veterans and their families.”

Scot Brumbeloe, Director of Military and Veterans Affairs, said the new scholarship will help military veterans and their families meet their educational goals.

“In addition to being a longstanding partner to those serving in our military, we are proud to now offer a tuition scholarship to all veterans and their families to show appreciation for their service to our great nation,” Brumbeloe said. “This scholarship and application fee waiver will assist in making TROY more accessible than ever and assist military veterans and their families in attaining their higher education goals.”

Eligibility for the scholarship will be verified by the applicants form DD214. The app fee waiver is available by using the promotional code TROY4VETS.
