Southeastern Mvskoke Nation Creek Friends Festival today

The Southeaster Mvskoke Nation will host the Creek Friend’s Festival  from  9 until 5 p.m. on Saturday at  242 County Road 2254, Troy.

Michelle Gilmore, Tribal Chief, said everyone is invited to come and join the fun.

There will be many different participation events and many to sit back and enjoy.

Featured  events include stomp dancing, ax throwing, sling shots, arrowhead dig, storytelling, guitar music, wood flute , drums, fry bread, Indian tacos, roasted and native artisans.

“And, there’s even more,” Gilmore said. So, come and enjoy the fun,”Gilmore said.

Admission is $5. Children under 12 are free.
