Pike Lib sweeps Highland Home in volleyball match

The Pike Liberal Arts Lady Patriots earned a 3-0 sweep over the Highland Home Lady Squadron on Monday.
Pike won all three sets 25-18, 25-20 and 25-21 to take the match. Alissa Barron led the way with six kills, two aces and four digs, while Emma Baker tallied five kills and Amy Ramage dished 10 assists with two aces, three kills and six digs in the win. Julianne Meyer earned four kills, two blocks and two digs, while Anna Cate Friday chipped in with four kills, three aces and one block. Riley Burkett earned six digs and three aces.
Pike will look to keep the momentum going on the volleyball court on Tuesday against Zion Chapel and on Thursday with a road match against Lee-Scott Academy.
