CHHS releases guidelines for upcoming football season

The Charles Henderson Trojans will play their first home game of the 2020 season on Thursday, September 3. On Tuesday, Charles Henderson released new guidelines for fans attending Veterans Memorial Stadium.

The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) along with the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) recommend that spectators be allowed to attend athletic events this fall.

The following is a list of guidelines for all fans attending Veterans Memorial Stadium for Charles Henderson High School football games.

•Masks are required

•Metal detector and temperature screenings are required before entering the stadium, all purses are subject to search.

•No backpacks or large bags will be allowed in the stadium.

•All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

•Spectators must remain seated and with their household members unless using the restroom or going to the concession stand.

•Social distancing will be strictly enforced.

•Spectators may not congregate within 6 feet of a person from another household.

Tickets for all of Charles Henderson’s home games this season can only be purchased online. No tickets will be available at the stadium. Fans can either download the GoFan app on their phone and search for Charles Henderson High School and purchase tickets or visit www.gofan.com. After purchasing, fans will receive a clickable ticket. After arriving to the game, fans will be asked to press the “redeem” button.
