As far as fun goes, the women at Wednesday’s Female Factor blew the top off the hilarity scale. After lunch, the women vied for top honors in a “decorate the gingerbread house” competition. Boxed gingerbread house kits were the centerpieces for the luncheon. The women were instructed to open the box at their table, remove the bland gingerbread house and “get creative” with the cream and candies included in the kit. When the judges’ decision was announced, a shout of exultation went up from the ladies at the table of high-jumping Diana Whitaker. Around the first-place table in the Gingerbread House Decorating Contest were: Whitaker, Helen Mosley, Doristine Sankey, Mary Mahone, Shelia Deveridge and Felicia Howard. Second place honors went to the table of Jo Harris, Gaye Carter, Ann McWhorter, Mary Lou Anderson, Janice Johnson, Eulane Jones, Betty Chancellor and Barbara Sanders. The TB&T ladies, Leesa Law, Diane Aman and Rene Williams, took third-place honors. Entertainment for Female Factor was by Patrick Jackson, saxophone; Willie B. Williams, Jr., piano; and Dorsey Fayson, Dewitt Knox and Braxton Pierson.
