Around 10:30 Saturday morning, the command will be given to “Start your engines.”

Then, the Enuff Said Motorcycle Club will lead bikers on a 30-mile ride around Pike County and, at the same time, raise funds in support of the Boys & Girls Club of Pike and Surrounding Counties.

Jamie Thomas, club president, said the ride is open to all bikers with all money from the entry fees going to the Boys & Girls Club.

“The riding fee is  $10 with an additional fee of $5 for an extra rider,” Thomas said. “The more bikers and riders we have, the better because that means more money for the Boys and Girls Club”

Registration will begin around 9 a.m. at the Boys & Girls Club on Highway 29 north and the ride will begin around 10:30 a.m.

“The bike ride will be along Highway 29 north and on the backroads,” Thomas said. “We’ll loop back around and end the ride at the Boys and Girls Club where we’ll have refreshments and lunch with the kids.”

The Enuff Said members will stay around after lunch to play kickball and other recreational games with the boys and girls.

“It will be a fun day for the kids and for the bikers, too,” he said. “We are looking forward to Saturday and invite anyone who enjoys bike riding and wants to do something to benefit the Boys & Girls Club to join us.”

Enuff Said Motorcycle Club has 17 members, who are committed to the community. The club also raises money for school supplies for the kids.

“We like to plan a fun day at a park with the kids,” Thomas said. “We also like to help with various needs in the community throughout the year and works to meet other needs in the county.”
