Linda Ruth Canant, 74, a resident of Luverne, Ala., passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Lisenby officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.

Mrs. Canant is preceded in death by her parents, Lucius John and Ruth Canant. 

Mrs. Canant is survived by her sons, Horace Edgar (Chip) Williford, III and wife Nancy of Spanish Fort, Ala., and Michael John Williford and wife Beverly of Montgomery, Ala.; daughters, Susan Michelle Williford and significant other Sheri Forehand of Banks, Ala., and Teressa Lynn Williford of Luverne, Ala.; brother, William T. Canant and wife Ann of Troy, Ala.; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two nephews.

She loved her time on the Mobile Bay, her friends and arts.
