The Pike County Bulldogs swept the Wicksburg Panthers in two key area games on Saturday afternoon in Brundidge.

The Lady Bulldogs began the evening with a 57-34 win over Wicksburg to improve to 3-3 with two area games remaining.

The Pike County boys followed suit and remained undefeated in area play with a 48-36 win.

The Lady Bulldogs used a 29-point second quarter to gain a comfortable lead. Precious Vaznaian led all scorers with 22 points, while Kyah Rouse added 15.

The Pike County boys outscored the Leopards 30-22 in the first half to earn an eight-point advantage heading into the half time break.

Jahzarian Lampley led the Bulldogs in scoring with 12 points, while Kevon Harris finished with nine.

The Bulldogs will be back in action this evening when they host Daleville.
