Paul Lamar Taylor, 90, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away December 20, 2017.  Paul was born in Brundidge, Ala.  He served in the National Guard during the Korean War. He worked for Sears for 30 years, then he had a second career working for the IRS.  Paul was a member of the Lawrenceville First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Lunsford Taylor. Paul is survived by his sons, Steve Taylor (Susan) and Gary Taylor (Debra); grandchildren, Matthew Taylor (Ashley), Sherri Mabrey (Cecil) and Kimberly Taylor; great-grandchildren, Jett and Rose Taylor, Myles and Taylor Mabrey and Hudson Bowen; sister Lorelle Jones and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service honoring the life of Paul Taylor will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home, Troy, Ala. with Rev. Mack King officiating.  Interment will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.  The family will receive friends at Dillard Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
