Semi wreck causes minor injuries

A man was transported to the hospital with minor injuries after colliding with a semi-truck in Brundidge Wednesday evening according to authorities.

The crash is still under investigation, but Brundidge police confirmed that the driver of a red Ford was transported from the scene with minor injuries.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured in the wreck, officials said.

The wreck occurred at approximately 5:40 p.m. on S.A. Graham Boulevard and U.S. Highway 231 in Brundidge.

After apparently colliding with the semi, the  Ford left the roadway and came to a stop in a ditch below with heavy damage to the driver’s side in the front.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
