Mrs. Beverly “Bev” Rose Buchanan, a resident of the Ansley community, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery. She was 67.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Curtis Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Buchanan was born October 10, 1950 to the late Harold and Geraldine Berlik Knepprath. She is survived by her husband Fred Buchanan, Ansley; sons, Michael Buchanan (Deborah), Auburn; Sean Buchanan (Susan), Spring Hill; and Jason Buchanan (Shannon), Ansley; brother, Richard Knepprath, West Allis, WI; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two uncles, Larry Berlik and Leonard Berlik, both of Wausau, WI.
