Dana Freeman Atwell, age 55, of the Good Hope Community died Saturday, September 23, 2017 at her home. Funeral services for Ms. Atwell will be Tuesday September 26, 2017 at 2:30pm at Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service from 1:00pm – 2:30pm. Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Ms. Atwell is survived by her Daughter, Shelley Sanders; Son, Austin Atwell; Parents: James and Nancy Freeman; Brothers: David Freeman, and Derek Freeman (Pam); Step-daughter, Elaine Atwell Hegler; Grandchildren: Breanna Sanders, Axton Sanders, Caleb Hegler, Amelia Hegler, and Noah Hegler; Nieces: Courtney Parnell, Megan Hasty, Lindsey Thompson; Nephews: Joshua Freeman and Jacob Freeman; and dear friend, Walt Mills.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Alacare Hospice of Troy.
