Walter “Pete” Jordan, age 78, a resident of Troy, AL, died Sunday, September 3, 2017, at home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, September 8, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Hugh Sikes officiating.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Brewer, Doug Myhand, Terry Garner, Bart Sanders, J.W. Davenport, and Richard Bassett.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Employees of Wiley Sanders Lead Company.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Jordan of Troy; children:  Wally Jordan of Banks, Robin Williams of Patterson, GA, Crystal Johnson of Banks, and Wade Johnson of Banks, brother, Rex Jordan (Barbara), and nieces, nephews, and other family.

Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil I. and Evie Lee Jordan; son, Michael V. Jordan; sisters: Robbie Sessions and Phyllis S. Rollins; brothers: Elvin “Whitey” Jordan,  Max “Cotton” Jordan, and Buck Jordan.

The family will be accepting flowers or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3617 Debby Drive, Montgomery, AL  36111.
