The Troy Junior Dixie Boys fell into the losers bracket with an 8-5 loss to West Seminole on Sunday afternoon in the Junior Dixie Boys World Series in South Carolina.

Troy entered the sixth inning down by just two runs, but a five-run sixth inning for West Seminole was too much to overcome.

Daryl Lee got the start for Troy and pitched five innings giving up three total runs, two of them earned on five hits and three walks. Jayden Jordan pitched 1.2 innings of scoreless baseball.
