Nellie Kate Davis went to be with our Heavenly Father on July 10, 2017. Visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 pm, Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge, AL. Services will be at 2 pm, Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Hamilton Crossroads Church of Christ with Bro. Shane Himes and Rev. Roger Waldrop officiating. She will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Hamilton Crossroads Cemetery in Brundidge, AL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Katie (Smith ) Armstrong; three brothers, Henry, Joe Tom and Hinton Armstrong; sister, Mavin Witherington and sister-in-law, Vonnie Lee Armstrong. Survivors include children, Frank Davis (Reba), Bobby Davis, Lulene Long (Dennis); seven grandchildren, Christy Garland (Tim), Kevin Long (Christi), Brian Davis (Jennifer), Rena Nagel (Chris), Robbie Davis (Krista), Jeremy Davis (Heather) and Andrew Davis (Tiffany); sixteen great grandchildren: Addie, Cole, Ella Jean, Rayner, Maddie, Jeremiah, Grant, Bryce and Reece Davis, Jace and Arielle Nagel, Cody Lide (Tory), Madalyn Long and Brittany, Alex, and Amber Garland.

Pallbearers will be her five grandsons and two of her great grandsons.
