Mary Ann Wingard

Mrs. Mary Ann Wingard was born February 12, 1954 in Pike County Alabama, the daughter of Leo McNabb and Linnie Pearl McNabb. Mary was a resident of Mt Morris, Michigan, and was a faithful member of Promise Tabernacle since 1990. While at Promise Tabernacle she served in the Choir, Deaconess Board and the “Women of Purpose” for many years. Mary was united in Holy Matrimony to Don Wingard on December 23, 1974. Mrs. Wingard was employed at Buick Motors, a Division of General Motors Corporation and retired after a long tenure with the company.

Mrs. Wingard leaves to cherish her memory: her husband Don Wingard of Mt Morris, MI; 3 daughters, Teresa (Aurelio)Vickers of Flint, MI; Belinda (Mario) Neal of Grand Blanc, MI; and Yolanda Wingard of Flint, MI; 3 grandchildren, Makiyah Wingard of Flint, MI, Braylon Neal and Malik Neal both of Grand Blanc, MI; 8 sisters, Willie Pearl Lovett, Coretta (Charles) Davis both of Athens, AL, Ola Mae (James) Jackson of Brundidge, AL, Martha Lois Griffin of Troy, AL, Evon (John) Smith of Tuscaloosa, AL, Sarah (Robert) Lipsey of Memphis, TN, Lillie Perdue of Flint, MI and Christine (Donald) Robinson of Grand Blanc, MI; 3 brothers, Robert (Evelyn) McNabb of Grand Blanc, MI, Joe (Faye) McNabb of Springfield, AR and Kerry McNabb of Flint, MI; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friends Bettie Ann Ballard, Sharon Jackson, Edna Walker, Dorothy Foster, Vera Williams and Debra Ensley.

Mrs. Mary Ann Wingard was preceded in death by: her parents, Leo McNabb and Linnie Pearl McNabb; sisters, Shirley, Leola and Felicia; and a brother Willie Cal McNabb.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Rockwest Missionary Baptist Church, Goshen, AL.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Friday, July 7, 2017 at George F. Grubbs Funeral Home in Troy, AL.
