Francis Irene Wallace Sanders, age 93, of Goshen, AL went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 10:00am at Goshen Baptist Church with Rev.’s Jared Buchanan, Clifford Matthews and Steve Carson officiating. She will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 5-7pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mrs. Sanders was born in El Dorado, AR, married in Paradise, LA in 1944 and moved to Goshen, AL in 1946.

Pallbearers will be Walt Williams, Shane Chance, Jay Adair, Braxton Stewart, Brandon Gasper and Jackson Kyzar. Honorary pallbearers will be the ladies of each Sunday School classes from all previous 8 churches served.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Rev. William Orris Sanders; daughter, Debbie Adair (Stan); son, Bill Sanders (Ann); grandchildren, Nicole Stewart, Shay Chance (Shane), Jay Adair (Jessica), Toni Williams (Jimmy), Valerie Kyzar (Jay), Jay Hughes (Ashley) and William Sanders III (Jessica); great grandchildren, Braxton Stewart, Brandon Gasper, Lauren and Brentley Chance, Jayleigh, Miller, Mason, Myles, Tate and Tucker Adair, Kaitlyn and Walt Williams, Jackson and Olivia Kyzar, Erin Hughes and Libby Sanders; several nieces and nephews and her dedicated caregivers, Annie Tyson and Mary Clayton.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ova Lee Golmon of Alexandria, LA; sister, Gladys Walker of Alexandria, LA; father, Francis Marion Wallace and step father, Clarence Golmon.
