The District baseball tournaments at the Troy Sportsplex got under way on Thursday afternoon. the Troy Ozone Rookies opened the tournament by taking on their rival Enterprise. Troy got 5.2 innings out of their starting pitcher Jackson Cleveland and won 14-2.

Other games in action included Enterprise American taking on Luverne in Coach Pitch action Greenville vs Enterprise American in AA Coach pitch and Enterprise American taking on Greenville in AAA Rookies baseball. The other games that were scheduled for Thursday evening were cancelled due to stormy weather and will be made up today.
