Local attorney Virginia Green Nowling is pleased to announce her candidacy for District Court Judge and will run on the Republican ticket. The GOP primary is scheduled for June 5, 2018. “I love Pike County and its citizens. I would be honored to serve as its District Judge and have an opportunity to build upon the strong legacy that Judge Hightower has established here,” said Nowling.  Virginia describes herself as “tough, but compassionate” and expresses a deep desire to make a “positive impact on our community.”
