The Charles Henderson High School Interact Club is hosting a 5K “fun run” this morning to benefit the school fine arts department.

Elana Worth, club sponsor, said the club wanted to invest in the arts programs so they can continue to build.

“We chose the fine arts department because we wanted to help expand the programs,” Worth said. “We have very strong and young arts programs. Our programs are going to competitions excelling; we wanted to pour our efforts into helping them build. They wanted to invest in programs that invest so much in our students and many of our members are in the arts. We want to make sure they can get all the resources they need to get. “
