William Curtis Smith, age 95, of Daphne, AL, died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at The Blake at Malbis, Assisted Living Facility. Funeral services for Mr. Smith will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11:30am in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Mark Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Charlotte Maxine Smith, his daughter, Faye Smith Curlee, son-in-law, Ferrell Curlee, granddaughters, Erin Curlee McGrath her husband Christopher McGrath and April Janel Curlee and daughter, Charlotte Anne Smith, son-in-law, Bill Dennis.

The family has requested no flowers and that memorial donations be made to the USS Alabama Battleship Foundation, WWII Education Project, P.O. Box 65, Mobile, AL 36601, In Memory of Mr. William C. Smith, USAF CWO4, 1921-2017.
