“All proceeds from ‘Pike County’s Got Talent’ benefit the Pike Leadership Scholarship Program,” said Spencer Thomas, 2017 Pike Leadership president. “Admission to the talent show is free but donations will be greatly appreciated.”

Thomas said most of the entries to date have been in the music category –from a Christian rapper to a jazz band — but talents of any and all kinds are welcome.

“This is a talent show and the winner will receive a cash prize,” Thomas said.

The winner will be determined by a panel of local judges.

Funds raised by the 2017 Pike Leadership Class will benefit all local high schools. Scholarships will be presented to graduating seniors, one at each high school –Charles Henderson, Goshen, Pike County and Pike Liberal Arts.

Thomas said everyone is invited to come out and enjoy a great talent show on April 8 and support the local high schools.
