Mary Lucille Jordan Green, Age 93, a lifelong resident of Pike County died Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Georgiana. Known by her grandchildren and many others as, “Mama J,” she grew up in the Josie community and was a lifelong member of the Loflin Baptist Church.  Funeral services for Lucille Green were held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home at 3:00 PM with her son-in-law, Brother Ben May officiating. Burial followed  in the Loflin Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held at Green Hills Funeral Home from 2:00 – 3:00 PM on Monday, March 20, 2017.  Survivors include; her daughter, Betty Joyce Jordan Owens and her husband Elmer “Sandy” Owens, her grandchildren, Rod “Darrell” Owens (Kathi), Jason May, Jordan Owens and Clint May (Regina), Great Grandchildren, Charlie Madison May, Ella Owens, Davis Owens and Hudson Owens. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clint Jordan and J.W. Green, her daughter, Bonnie Jordan May and several brothers.  The staff of Green Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Green family.
