The March 7 Troy Rotary Meeting was hosted by Jason Reeves and Debbie Rodgers. They invited Drew Brooks with the Alabama Department of Public Safety. Corporal Drew Brooks is the Area Commander for Driver License, which includes the nine southeastern counties of the state. Corporal Brooks oversees the daily operations of these offices and works closely with the Probate Judges in his area to resolve Driver License matters. He encouraged everyone to take advantage of online renewals. You may do so by visiting www.alrenewal.com. Customers must provide a copy of his/her DD 214 (Honorable or General discharge) in order to have the veteran designation added at no charge. CDL applicants may take the written test at any of the field offices. However, the applicant must take the skills (driving) portion in Dothan or Montgomery whichever is closer. Citizens may also contact the Dothan District Office at 334-983-9637 Pictured are: Jason Reeves, Drew Brooks, Debbie Rodgers, and President Scott Hartley.
