A recent grand jury trial handed out indictments on several cases, including potentially the largest theft reported in the history of Pike County.

In addition to that historic indictment, several other indictments were handed out for felony charges.

Wesley Donovan Barron and Michael Austin Barr were indicted on charges of first-degree theft of property in connection with an ATV that was stolen on August 30, 2016 worth approximately $10,000. Barr was also indicted on a second charge of first-degree theft of property in connection with a robbery of a chicken coop from which an outboard boat motor, rabbit cage, duck decoys and 12 rabbits were stolen.

Samuel McErvin was indicted on a charge of first-degree robbery in connection with a robbery at the Marathon gas station in Spring Hill on September 4, 2016.

McErvin was also charged with robberies in New Brockton and Daleville over that weekend.

Bruce Lee Griffin was indicted on charges of first-degree theft of property.

Maurice Williams was indicted on charges of shooting into an occupied vehicle.

Carvell Montrell Leavigne and Kendarious Carter were indicted on charges of first-degree robbery.

Kentravious Montreal Barr was indicted on five charges of unlawfully breaking and entering a motor vehicle.

Tonia Marie Greenfield and Kyle Adrian Poole were indicted on charges of manufacture of a controlled substance.

James Michael Fuller and Thomas Michael Clark were indicted on charges if trafficking in Methamphetamines.

District Attorney Tom Anderson said the cases will be placed on the next available docket of the Circuit Judges.
