Pat Bennett

Pat Youngblood Bennett, age 82, of Troy died Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Troy, Alabama. Pat was born December 29, 1934 in Troy and grew up in the Shellhorn Community. She graduated with a BS degree in Education from the Troy Teacher’s College. She loved to travel with the love of her life Charles G. Bennett and visited 50 states in her lifetime. Charles and Pat were married for 57 years until his death in 2012. Patricia loved to play with her children and grandchildren, loved her flowers, gardening and being with her close friends.

Funeral Services for Pat Youngblood Bennett will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Old Lebanon Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Reverend Perry Green Officiating. Burial to follow in the Old Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Survivors include; sons, David (Rachel) Bennett, George Bennett, Chuck (Polly) Bennett, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles G. Bennett, parents, George W. and Zerah Motes Youngblood, sisters, “Baby” George Youngblood, Audry King and Edna Reeves. Serving as pallbearers will be David Bennett, George Bennett , Chuck Bennett, Garland Bennett ,Grant Bennett and Perry Green.
