“National Go Red for Women Day is held on the first Friday in February every year to raise awareness about heart disease being the No. 1 killer of women,” Toney said. “The people of Pike County have been strong supporters of the awareness campaign by purchasing ‘Go Red’ T-shirts or simply wearing red on ‘Go Red’ day.”
