Donald Rex Beasley, age 84, a resident of Troy died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Capitol Healthcare in Montgomery. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 3pm in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Richard Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park with Military Honors provided by the United States Army, with Dillard Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 2-3pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Beasley is survived by his wife, Hilda S. Beasley of Troy; one son, Greg A Beasley (Diana) of Montgomery; one daughter, Linda F. Kromer (Karl H.) of Cumming, GA; four grandchildren, Kristina Kromer, Ashley Kromer, April Beasley and Ashten Beasley; one great grandchild, Pacey Beasley; one sister, Bonnie Faye Flowers of Dothan; several nieces, nephews and other close relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Macey Beasley; sister, Doris Adams and brother, Murray Beasley.

Pallbearers will be: Johnny Adams, Terry Garrett, Mark Garrett, Durwood Sessions, Tim walker, and David Sikes.

Mr. Beasley served his country during the Korean War.
