Janice Crocker Lampkin, 46, of Wiggins, MS, formerly of Troy, AL, passed away on January 14, 2016. Janice was born in Birmingham, AL, on January 18, 1969, to James Rexford Crocker, Jr. and Gale Wilson Crocker. She graduated in 1987 from Charles Henderson High School in Troy, AL. Janice had a deep love for her children and family and will be missed by all those who loved her. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her husband, Aaron Lampkin; 4 children: Joseph Herring (Erin), Laura Leigh Krauss (Mike), Wilson Herring, and Isabella Grace Lampkin; one grandson, James Krauss; father, Jim Crocker (Vicki); mother, Gale Atkinson (Bill); sister, Leigh Ellen Crocker Bee; grandmother, Evelyn Crocker; and two nephews, Matthew and Joshua Bee. Janice was laid to rest on Monday, January 18, 2016, at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL. Donations may be made to The Greater Birmingham Humane Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
