Easter dinner served at American Legion

Published 2:00 am Saturday, April 4, 2015

No one should have to be alone on Easter Sunday, so several people have come together to provide Easter dinner for anyone who would be alone and for those who are unable to cook for themselves.

The Easter Sunday dinner will be at 12:30 p.m. on Easter Sunday at the American Legion building at 212 East Walnut Street in Troy and veterans are also welcome.

Although the dinner will be served at the American Legion building, the Easter dinner is not just for veterans. It’s for anyone who would be alone on Easter Sunday.

The dinner will be a traditional springtime Sunday dinner – baked ham and all the trimmings and dessert.

There will be no takeouts so those who come will benefit from the fellowship of others.
