The culinary arts academy students at Charles Henderson High School put their skills to the test as they hosted the Pike County Chamber of Commerce’s Junior Ambassadors on Wednesday. Culinary students prepared turkey sliders, seasoned fries and a martini ice cream sandwich (an ice cream sandwich made with sugar cookies and garnished with a strawberry on top, all served in a martini glass). Main, Johneshia Hooten, ninth grader at CHHS, serves Elaina Strother, eleventh grader at Pike Liberal Arts, at the Pike County Chamber of Commerce’s Junior Ambassadors Luncheon at CHHS.
