John Kevin Wayne Singleton, age 33, a resident of Troy, Alabama died Saturday, March 1, 2014.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Reverend David Stewart officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sandfield Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mr. Singleton is survived by his wife, Brittany Singleton; parents, Leon and Judy Singleton, his sisters, Angie Sanders (David), Melisa Lanoe (Rene); brother, Kenneth Singleton (Tracy); mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jenny and Horace Tillery; sisters-in-law, Paige Tillery, Mary Kate Tillery; brother-in-law, Alan and Danielle Tillery; nieces and nephews, Mark Sanders (Anna Marie), Kayla Sanders, Brian Parker (Toshia), DustonBrown, Courtney Brown, Trent Singleton, Brooke Singleton, Kimberly Singleton, Katie Singleton, Kale Tillery and Dane Tillery; great-nieces and nephews, David Riley, Justin and Kaitlyn Parker; family friend, Lana Davis Hutto; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Thomas and Marie Singleton and Lester and Myrtice Culpepper.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Singleton, Eric Hasson, Lee King, Jason Montgomery, Robert Fisher and Scott Hasson.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Alabama National Guard, Brian Parker, Mark Sanders, Trent Singleton, Duston Brown and Alan Tillery.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
