Angelo Hadley and Brandon Powe are no longer with the team according to Troy head football coach Larry Blakeney.
Hadley, who was dismissed for a violation of team rules, played in all 12 games, starting in four, last season as a sophomore defensive back. The Seffner, Fla., native recorded 28 tackles last season for the Trojans. Troy had Hadley listed on their spring depth chart behind Barry Valcin at safety.
Branon Powe was a midyear signee this offseason for Troy. Powe, a linebacker from Mississippi Delta Community College, left the team before the summer. He was listed as Kannoris Davis’ backup on the depth chart.
Blakeney also said Wednesday that quaterback Luke Barnes would be transferring to Hutchinson CC in Kansas for academic reasons. Barnes, from Fort Walton Beach, Fla., redshirted last season.
