Sibbie Veal Warrick

Sibbie Veal Warrick, age 88, of Douglasville, GA, passed away May 6, 2012.  She was born November 17, 1923 in Pike County, a daughter of the late Franklin Dewey Veal, Sr. and Mary Jane Phillips Veal. She was a charter member of Bush Memorial Baptist Church.  Preceding her in death are her husband of 47 years, Clayton L. Warrick; daughters, Phyllis Jane Warrick Armstrong and Debbie Gail Warrick; and siblings L.D. Veal, Willis Dekalb Veal and Edward Daniel Veal.

Surviving are her sister, Mary Martha Austin; brothers, Franklin Dewey Veal, Jr and his wife Nita and Robert Denzil Veal and his wife Sylvia; son-in-law, Victor Armstrong; grandchildren, Matthew Victor Armstrong and his wife Margaret Kinsella and Michael Warrick Armstrong and his wife Dawn Hopson; great-grandchildren, Grace Katherine Armstrong, Amelia Jane Armstrong and Eloise Sibbie Armstrong.

Services for Mrs. Warrick will be held at Bush Memorial Baptist Church in Troy on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest donations to The American Cancer Society or Bush Memorial Baptist Church of Troy.
