One home invasion suspect arrested

Troy Police have charged a 14-year-old boy in connection with the Wednesday night home invasion at Suntrace Mobile Home Park.

The teenager has been charged with three counts of first-degree robbery, one count of first-degree burglary and one count of first degree theft.

Police have not released what role the 14-year-old played in the crime where multiple black men with weapons took hand tools, jewelry, currency, a computer and other electronics. The men then fled in one of the victim’s gray Chevrolet Impala.

One victim was transported to the hospital for minor injuries. The car was recovered Thursday afternoon

Police said on Thursday that all the men were wearing black and red clothing, red gloves and masks when the crime was committed between 10 and 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Investigators still need help from the public identifying the other suspects.
