Ray Day, 64, a resident of Friendship Community, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, George Day; and two brothers, Nelson and Keith Day; and a daughter, Kim Wade. Mr. Day is survived by his wife, Margaret Day; two daughters, Pat Day and Kristi Nabors; one son, Carroll Day; five brothers, Jimmy Day, Robert Day, Doug Day, Joey Day and Gary Day; four grandchildren, Nikki Martin, Meda Grace Nabors and Josh and Jacob Eaton; and one great-grandchild, Will Martin. Visitation will be at Friendship Baptist Church on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 5 – 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Stabler officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Day, Robert Day, Doug Day, Joey Day, Carroll Day, Brandon Nabors, Jerrell Lambert, and Chris Nolan. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Jimmy Day Plumbing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Friendship Baptist Church Building and Grounds Fund.
