Charles Henderson’s baseball team routed Montgomery Christian, 11-0 in the opening round of the Jerry Armstrong Memorial Tournament in Montgomery on Monday.

Jalin Lawson earned the win on the mound, striking out nine in five innings of work.

Michael Fox, Gregory Barnette, Chase Smartt and Luke Hastings were all 2-for-3 in the game.

Lawson finished 1-for-2 at the plate.
